1. Sleeping late rocks my world.  My dear husband let this lazy bum sleep until after 9-10am on the regular. 
2. My baby daddy. After sleeping late  with no coffee in sight, I was greeted with not only a coffee but a few hours of quiet time. L got a trip to the gym & pool with Daddy and I got some me time. Glorious. 
3. Movie night has commenced.  Both Saturday & Sunday night we dimmed the lights, snugged up on the couch and watched movies.  L gasped from time to time asking, "Wha happens?" It's too cute. 
4. Lying.  Not pleased she is starting her con early... but when caught it takes all I have in me not to laugh. C, "L are you lyin'?" L, "Rooaarrr!!!!
5. New blogger layout. Horray for choices. I awoke on Saturday (late as explained) with alone time on my side and a new format to play with. Now if I could just get it all right.

1. My kid. The comedian.
2. A weekend with 'nothing' to do and most everything getting done. For the first weekend in a long while we had no plans where we were able to get done all the chores that have been looming.
3. Sleeping at home is a blessing. In the coming weekends I'll be gone Thursday - Sunday for the next two weekends. Gah. Not looking forward to all that, but thankful for the weekend to be home.
4. Home Depot. Plants are purchased and floor are shiner to help fix all the crazy scratches on the floor was purchased. It looks like a new place and with the removal of all the dang sand in the house will surely help things. I could spend hours in the Depot. For sure smiling the whole time.
5. Happiness. Plain and simple.

1. Having a clean home is a happy one. Snaps to having time to clean this piece. There was so much gravel, sand and dirt around this house, I was starting to be afraid that should a cat arrive into our front door - he would think he just entered the world's largest litter box.

2. Having family that would prefer to hang out with my kid then me. I mean I know we are welcome to join the fun/ but it's pretty fantastic to have a visitor and still be able to get sht done. Pretty amazing.

3. L stayed with Nana Lu & Uncle Ricky this weekend. Friday night we came by, swam in the hotel pool, ate some dinner and came back to go to bed. C dropped the offspring off/ while I was still sleeping. We had the day to get things done. I was able to put some hours into work with out severe guilt ridden mama psychosis setting in- oh and to catch dinner & a movie. Glorious.

4. My little girl getting to know and loving spending time with her elders is pretty amazing. I can't say that I had the same kind of bond she has already with her grandparents; or maybe I did and I don't remember - all I know or honestly really care about is how she lights up. She's a good little girl always and sleeps like no other. It's happiness all the way around.

5. Speaking of sleeping/ I don't understand it. When L spends time with Nana Lu she sleeps longer and harder than she has since the last time she spends time at or with Nana Lu. I think she slips her something. I'm just saying.

1. I'm back (with a vengeance), for now. And it feels good. I just can't flip into old bad habits, i.e. I said I would start doing this in June 09... this is my second 'entry.'
2. My girl is growing up. This past week when I got home after being gone for only a few days - she went from asking for specific things for breakfast- just by saying the thing she wanted to a full sentence. When did she become a freaking human? Example, before this week it was all "BAR BAR BAR BAR" when it came time for breakfast. Now, she looks up to me... "Mama, can I have a bar for breakfast... pllleease?"
3. Jersey Shore makes me smile, laugh and love life. Train wreck? Perhaps. Joyful? Absolutely.
4. I got to see the bulk of my girls this weekend. God damn it. I love those Bs. (Oh my god. I don't have anything about Chester Street on my blog. This will be rectified this week. For shizzie.)
5. Working from home has serious benefits, including being about to 'commute' to the dinner table and back to 'the office' when needed. I'm grateful to have that luxury.

Over at Girl'sGoneChild, there is catch all to memories that would otherwise not be mentioned or lost in the shuffle of the everyday. I will do my very best to keep it up to put it out there a few things that went down over the weekend, Sunday Snaps - here we go. P.S. I'm not going to format it all the same way - turns out I can't keep up. If I'm going to be on time with this - I'm going to straight shoot it. Every Sunday (or Monday) I'll record a few little bitty things from the weekend.

1. I can't help but talk about L as much as those around me will allow.
2. Sometimes it's hard to see the signs when enough is enough for my audience.
   
3. I kind of don't care (too much).
4. She's started to run around the house screaming, "MA MA MA MA." And I love it. Every screetch of it.
   
5. I'm not entirely sure she is actually calling for me, but I'm going to to with she is - even though when you point to me and ask "Who is that?" she says, clearly and with passion, "Daddy!"
